Lighthouse Lofoten is finally lit again and in April 2022 we will welcome you to this international conference – an ambitious turning point for change.
The conference will be held in Svolvær, Norway. It will also be possible to attend online.
Through Lighthouse Lofoten, we aim to showcase preventive solutions and create a dialogue around successful models to reduce sea-based marine litter. We also want to use the lighthouse to explore how awareness can lead to change in attitudes, actions, and systems.
The program has three main topics:
1) Knowledgebased navigation: Knowledge status on sea-based marine litter and preventive approaches.
2) Leading by example: Inspiring activities leading to preventive action.
3) Strengthen the light: When awareness leads to change.
If you dedicate your work to preventing sea-based marine litter this is the conference for you. Join in to strengthen the necessary action or search for inspiration and insight from those who make it happen.
Primary target group: People who work with innovation, prevention, awareness or management to beat sea-based marine litter in the North Atlantic or the Arctic.
More information about the conference will be updated continuously.
The program will be launched in February.
